Our 13th Annual Dog Walk & Festival is returning to Downtown Hampton with our pet-friendly fall festival in October! We will have live music featuring Lost Soul Society, our Bow-Wow Beer Garden with local brews, rescues with adoptable pets, vendors and community partners at our event, and will of course hold our annual dog walk through beautiful Downtown Hampton to support the homeless animals of the Peninsula SPCA!!

The Peninsula SPCA welcomes any local business or non-profit organization to set up a booth at Barktoberfest. This event targets SPCA supporters and animals lovers from across the Peninsula. We hope you will join us for this spectacular event!
We love all of our fellow non-profits and rescues and we appreciate everything they do in our community, especially to help homeless animals! Non-profits can register to receive a free 10 X 10′ booth space at Barktoberfest. Rescues may bring adoptable pets and information to distribute regarding their organization. It’s a great way to enjoy the event and get in front of a lot of animal lovers!
We invite you to join us at this year’s Barktoberfest. Your support is so important to the continued success of the shelter as an Adoption Guarantee (or “No-Kill) Shelter. Last year, we saved more than 1,000 lives, expanded our affordable vaccination clinic to include spay and neuter services, and enhanced our humane education programs. We rely solely on support from the community to operate, through adoption fees, education and clinic fees, and through donations from community partners like you! This year, we hope to raise $40,000 at Barktoberfest!
The Barktoberfest Dog Walk is a pledge-walk to help raise money for our community’s homeless animals at the Peninsula SPCA! When you register to walk, you also have the opportunity to raise money for the SPCA and win prizes!
Fundraising Incentives:
$100 and up: For every $100 you raise, you will receive 2 general admission tickets to the festival to share with friends and family.
$500 and up:For every $500 you raise, you will be entered to win 2 Fur Ball human tickets and one pet ticket for the 2020 Fur Ball on March 28, 2019! (A value of $320!)
Individual Fundraisers: When you register, you receive a free personal fundraising web page that you can customize and share with your friends, co-workers and family. Cash donations will be collected in advance of the walk during PSPCA’s Bank Days at the shelter (Tuesday and Wednesday, October 8 & 9 – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Please Note: There are two types of registrations. "Fundraisers" who plan to collect donations to support the Peninsula SPCA and receive a personal fundraising web page with their ticket purchase and "Non-Fundraisers" who do not wish to utilize the free fundraising page.
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO FUNDRAISE. If you do not wish to utilize your fundraising page, no problem! Simply select no during registration.

You will want to mark your calendar for Tuesday and Wednesday, October 8 & 9 (11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) - that's when we will hold Bank Days here at the shelter, so registrants can pick up their shirt and wristband prior to the event. It will save you from standing in line at the gate on the day of the event :-) It's also the opportunity for fundraisers to turn in any cash or check donations.
If you are registered as a fundraiser, then now is the time to start fundraising! Be sure to complete your personal fundraising web page and Download a Donation Form HERE to help you keep track of any cash and check donations you may receive. Don't forget, for every $100 you raise, you will receive 2 general admission tickets to the festival to share with family and friends! For every $500 you raise, you will be entered to win 2 tickets to the Peninsula SPCA's Fur Ball in February 2020!
Don't forget... lawn chairs and blankets are welcome! We have a great day planned and you will want to find a spot to sit, relax and enjoy the day with your pup!
